It was close, thank goodness, but it may have been across town and I would still recommend it. Go there when you're hungover, go there when you want to get buzzed, go there when you're already sloppy drunk. This place is one welcoming hole filled with pesky patrons and lovely waitrons.

Not good! A roach crawling up the wall was the first thing I saw. I rationalized this thinking that no place is perfect, so I stayed. We got breakfast that included swill for coffee and pancakes that were so tough, we literally had to use a knife to cut them. I won't be back.

I thought the breakfast was AWESOME! They are open 24Hours...so coming back from Bourbon st, it was a great place to eat at 3 in the morning! Only complaint is that the staff was a little slow and they seems to be non responsive when asking them a question, especially the older blonde waitress. So...food is great, service, not so much.

Good late night spot. Don't get overwhelmed by the menu bc you have options. Enjoy. I had the gumbo & fried oyster platter. Both were pretty good.

Deliver here also. The kitchen and backrooms are kept clean. But will never eat here because the waitresses are always outside smoking and know for a fact that they dont wash their hands and handle the food. Manager always complaing that the waitstaff sucks. When you go there if you cant find your waiter or waitress just look at the back tables they all just sit there talking and ignore the customers.

NO STARS!!!! We placed a order called back after an hour when no food arrived to be advised the rude lady that took our order thought it was a prank call even though she got phone number, room number and address of hotel. Extremely rude service!!!!!

I ordered from this place during mardi gras, BIG MISTAKE. I ordered the catfish po boy and chilli cheese fries. It took over one hour for the delivery guy to show up with the food i had to call back an hour and 10 minutes in to ask if he was still coming. The fish was not fresh it was probably from the day before, it was warm and soggy all it had on it was diced tomatoes and lettuce very bland and soggy. The chilli cheese fries were burnt!!! I have no clue how you could mess up two simple items like that i can make chilli cheese fries and catfish better than that. One thing i learned never take locals word that work at the hotels you stay they will tell you anything.

over priced, and awful. i was a charged both a service charge and a delivery charge. i was told my shrimp po'boy would be dressed on the side. it wasn't. it also only had 8 shrimp on it. and diced tomatoes. who puts diced tomatoes on a po' boy? unheard of. was led to believe fries or onion rings came with my po'boy. they don't. there's an up charge. I've lived here 12 years, and it was hands down the worst shrimp po'boy I've ever been subjected too. really bad. better you walk across town to the riverbend area and go to cooter browns. or parkway in mid city. or yangs. basically any other place. don't even get me started on the onion rings. boo daisy dukes. boooooooo.

Best 24 Hour Delivery! I ordered the Daisy burger at 3am after a good night on Bourbon Street. I got a call about 15 minutes later from the driver to confirm my information, and to ask if I wanted him to stop and grab me anything else. I was like yes I'll take a pack of (insert your brand here) cigarettes (don't judge, I smoke when I drink). About 20 minutes later he was there with my food, and my dirty cancer sticks. The burger itself was big, and really tasty, and the fries were a fresh-cut type and were good as well. They have an extensive menu, and even serve breakfast 24/7. As far as 24 hour delivery places goes, this place rocks!

The worst delivery ever!! We order a shrimp last night just after midnight... 9 small shrimp and cold fries, the delivery person was a tat'd up freak... Do Not order from these guys!!!! BTW the Sandwich and fries was $18, wow

Consistency. This place has none. From service to food, its the type of place where you have a general idea of what to expect. In general, its cleanish, with adequate service and food. To be fair, I have not had their breakfast and I have been here twice. The first time it was a solid 3 star experience, no real issues, just some underdone fries in an otherwise tasty meal. I had a cheese burger, and it was some kind of premade patty like you get at a cafeteria. The veggies were fresh, and the service was great. My husband had a cheese steak that wasn't too bad. The second time, we waited 17 minutes for service in a restaurant with only two other tables. We were simply ignored, other than our tea being plunked down and sloshed on the table. The time sitting gave me plenty of time to notice how damp it was, the food crumbs, the lack of ice in the tea, and the stains on the sweetener packets. This place isn't fabulous, but it isn't terrible provided you get the right server.

Quick service, cheap and good food, omelet could have been cooked a little better but say flew and ordered and was out in 10 minutes.

LOVEEEEE LOVEEE LOVEEEE!!!! The owner Sam is soooo sweet and caring... And love the severs Val and Mickie!! Omg they're great! You can go to daisy Dukes at any time for almost anything at a great price! I love their chili cheese fries my absolute favorite!!!!

First time at the express and loved it. Right around the corner from our Hilton Garden Inn. Awesome Po-boys as always. The shrimp tastes so fresh and crispy! My gal always loves her seafood omelet. I love the hash browns. Great stop as they are open 24/7 and the prices are great for the quarter. They also have a full bar but we don't drink so I can't comment on it. The best part to me is the great food, close to the action, without the smells and noise of the quarter.
(5)

Awesome Fried Green Tomato Po'Boy!! Service could use a little improvement but pretty good little spot to grab a bite. I give it a 4-star rating because my beer was a little warm and the waitress had a little attitude.

We came solely for breakfast based on fellow Yelpers stellar reviews. It's good to get out of the craziness of the French Quarter and this place was super convenient. I'm so glad we came! Their early bird special breakfast (till 9:00 AM which admittedly is early for most people in New Orleans) is a downright miracle. How so you ask? How about this- 2 eggs any way, a MASSIVE pile of bacon, huge heap of hash browns (or grits if you want), and toast for $3.99. Unlimited coffee is another $2 but hey, it even included a to go cup. Now, you might think that price and quantity is reason enough to come. And you're probably right. But how about if the eggs are cooked to perfection (mine were over easy and done right) , the bacon is crispy without being overlooked, the hash browns were lightly crisped, and the grits buttery and flavorful? Add to that the atmosphere was great and service was impeccable!! You can't go wrong!!

Well, here we have another New Orleans business that needs to wake up and realize that it's 2015, and people like to pay with credit cards. I tried to place an order from them today, and was told that delivery was cash only. When I told them that wouldn't work, they were just pleased as can be to let my business slip away. What ever happened to the days where businesses were willing to make do whatever it took to make the sale and please their customers? Are they so convinced that they are too big to fail now days that they can piss away paying customers because they wish to cling to the days of the gold standard? Perhaps they think it's 1985, perhaps they long for the days of 8-bit Nintendo, parachute pants and boom boxes. Perhaps the folks at Daisy Dukes are simply trapped in some sort of strange time vortex, mentally of course. Makes me ponder what they think when their customers walk in on cell phones. They must think the world has gone mad. If there is anyway that this can be explained, it must be rooted in some form of dark magic or perhaps a steam-punk inspired time travel device that has caused them to become unclear on the date, the year, and most importantly, the current trends on sales and marketing, you know, crazy stuff like credit card sales. My guess is perhaps that they were trying to summon a demon in the back of their restaurant one night. They probably used some sort of animal blood for their ritual instead of the quality human stuff. In doing so, they summoned a stupid demon, not the cool kind like in the movies. When they asked this demon to give them the secrets to wealth and earthly success, I can only imagine that he said, "Duhhhh, clearly, maintain a cash only rule for delivery, because people in 2015 ALWAYS carry just cash on them, and if they don't, people LOVE paying ATM fees in order to buy your food." Not realizing they had summoned a stupid demon, the owners of Daisy Dukes foolishly followed his advice. So, blame the demon I guess, because clearly no modern business owner would be so STUPID on his/her own accord as to allow business to slip away. I mean, because making sales in the prime directive of any business, am I right?

Got the special wroth a blackened alligator sausage poboy, and gumbo. $8.95 is s great deal, the poboy and sausage were amazing, the gumbo was among the best I've had. Awesome!

Ok, so this is our fourth meal in the city. As clueless out of towners this odd named restaurant was recommended to us by our taxi driver. After sitting in tiny restaurants with no room, no table space and people breathing down your neck this place was spacious and had plenty of room for our party of 4. AMAZING service and crazy great food. After dropping over $70 for dinners other places for my husband and I this place was a breath of fresh air. We got the fried seafood platter for 2 and were stuffed! It had fried oysters, soft shell crab, amazing stuffed hush puppies and was $29 for the both of us.

It was decent for some reasonably priced barfood. We ordered Spicy Garlic Wings, pizza, and a gyro. The service was mediocre. Staff was boring.

Family and I stopped here for breakfast while visiting New Orleans... the biscuits were unexpectedly amazing. Hash browns were good. Server was just okay... she got the job done, she wasn't bad, and she wasn't great. All in all, I would come here again. Oh... and my 14 yr old gave a thumbs up on the biscuits and gravy.
(3)
Tracy J.
The food and service were great. Price wasn't bad either. Get the Gato or shrimp & crawfish omelets. You won't be disappointed.
(4)
Jim C.
It was OK. The gumbo was excellent, the fried green tomatoes were OK but the breading was a little too crusty, the po-boy was ok. Not delicious - except the the gumbo - but passable.

Again, some great comfort food while traveling. The service was outstanding. Sat next to some playa that seemed to want to be waited on hand and foot. These folks take good care of you. If you are polite, you typically get polite back. Playa was whiny and rude, he got polite back. Cmon folks spread some love! Great food, great service, coming back next time in NOLA.
(5)

Service was terrible. They made a mistake on the order. When it arrived we asked to have the charge removed for the incorrect items and they tried to add a six dollar charge to the order. We sent the whole order back.

The gyro and the drinks were rolling. Pretty quick and a fair meal and cheap. Clean place, and minimal drama... definitely a good late night spot to grab something quick.

Breakfast was amazing!! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but step into some go old fashion home cooking! Portion sizes were huge!!!

Far from express at night. Malik was my server and a pretty good guy. No complaints from the service but the food was awful. I never had fries that tasted bad. The fries tasted dull, no flavor just like pieces of dull wood chips or something. The night of my stay I went here because I did not have anything to eat all day. I had the wings which were actually pretty good which is why I did not rate this place a one star. The server, Malik, recommended the Philly cheese steak sandwich. Mental note, if your not in Philly do not try the Philly cheese steak. When in Rome eat like the Romans I always say but went with his suggestion and it was pretty bad. Decor - 2 of 5 Service - 3 of 5 Food - 2 of 5

The service was okay. Not sure if our waitress was very busy or just a little spacey. However, the food was amazing. Get the alligator omelet. You won't regret it. And the biscuits are big, fluffy, and wonderful.

We got in late, were tired from driving from Austin, and were definitely not dressed for any of the nicer restaurants immediately around our hotel. Turned to Yelp for delivery options and found Daisy Duke's. I got the cheese burger with everything on it with a side of chili cheese fries (don't judge),. My husband got the filet philly cheesesteak with a side of fried green tomatoes. Also got a Diet Coke and a bottle of tea. About $35 for it all. The food arrived within the estimated 30 minutes. My burger was actually really good. Nice and thick beef patty, plenty of toppings, and a huge bun. It was really big - I couldn't finish it! I don't know if my chili cheese fries were good because they didn't show up. Boo. Perhaps they knew that I really didn't need them, lol. Instead of chili cheese fries a big ol' order of regular fries showed up. They were good. Could hardly eat any of them because the burger was so big and filling. My husband's sandwich and tomatoes were very good, according to him. I'm definitely glad we tried this place. Good deal for the large quantity of food and the fact that they delivered. Knocked a star off because of the incorrect order. May not have needed the chili cheese fries but we paid for them.

I don't write much reviews but when I do, its because of exceptional food or service. This place has it all. Please go try their duke sauce flavored wings and crawfish! I wasnt big on crawfish til i had it here... Now I'm a fan. Staff was extremely friendly, service was fast, and food was amazing! Our trip to NOLA is highlighted thanks to several meals here during our stay.

Our family went to dinner tonight and ate: rib eye steak, blackened cat fish, and pork chops. It was yummy and came with fried green tomatoes, gumbo, and fluffy biscuits. A nice change from the hustle of the French Quarters! Yes, I would definitely go back!

Was in NOLA for three nights and ate here twice. At the waiter's recommendation I had the 1/2 a catfish po boy & gumbo special. It was fantastic. The Bloody Marys are also worth having if you like it spicy. There are also options if you have picky folks with you that don't want to indulge in the local fare. Don't let the $$ fool you. This place will not break the bank.
(5)

My husband and I both enjoyed eating at this place. We love the biscuits, it's a soft bread, moist and fluffy...not dried and hard like most places. The grits are good also. Good place for breakfast with southern style food.

At any hour when in the CBD of NOLA, I can have great food! Like my fav pizza with crawfish, Italian sausage, jalapeños, extra cheese & marinara - Delicious ~ great breakfast as well!

Stopped in Nola on my way to Cali and stayed at the courtyard marriott. I yelped restaurants nearby and this one came up. I ordered from my hotel room because I got there late. They deliver 24hrs!! I got the shrimp po boy and man was it delicious. They told me it would be 40 mins but the food arrived right to my hotel door about 15 mins later. Next time I'm in Nola I will be ordering from here.

The food was okay but it was annoying to not have the option of splitting the check. Although I knew this going in. Went on a friends recommendation.

OMG!! I walked past this place everyday while I was there..on my last day we decided to eat breakfast there and OMG!! The breakfast was soooo good! And it was so much food! And the price was very reasonable! Will visit again when I come back!
(5)
Zack M.
I don't know how we ended up there but we weren't disappointed. This could have been 5 stars but the two problems were the "no split checks" policy and the chili on the chili cheese fries. The "no split check" was annoying because there were 4 parties at one table and in the age of debit cards and being the only man, I ended up paying for all 11 of us. The food was really good. I had the filet philly-cheese and it was great! Everyone loved their meals and my wife's red beans and rice was better than most. I ordered some chili-cheese fries as a starter and the chili had almost no seasoning but the portion was almost absurdly huge. That said, 3/4 of it was left on the table. The service was very good.
(4)

Awesome food.... Awesome Service considering they were super-packed!!!! I gave them 4 Stars because I didn't have that WOW experience!!! I also fined here for late night dinner!! Excellent and yes I am going back

Best fried green tomatoes. Catfish was light, flakey, & fried to perfection!!! Our waitress introduced us to THE DUKE SAUCE & oh baby!!!!!! Ordered a chicken Philly & didn't know it was beef until I had eaten half of it.. You will not be disappointed!!

Half of the party I came to New Orleans came here around 3am after a night of drinking to get something to soak up the alcohol. We all got pancakes. It may have been the alcohol, but they were possibly some of the best pancakes I've ever had. The place was pretty dingy but any joint open at 3am is going to be, so it's not really a big deal. Also, our waitress was in drag. We didn't care, but if you'd do id avoid this place- maybe New Orleans too... Basically, if you're looking for some good food in the middle of the night near the Pere Marquette or JW, this is your place.
(4)
Gina A.
Very good. Had the shrimp platter, soft shelled crab po-boy and kid's pizza (we think it came from Domimo's 2 doors down, but the 11 year old was happy). The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would go to again and recommend to a friend.
(4)
Linda Y.
Order the seafood omelet. It's stuffed with shrimp and crawfish. Get it with a biscuit and hashbrowns.
(4)
Clayton L.
I was debating between 3 and 4 stars, and finally settled on 4. The inside lm looks a lot better than the outside and the food is better than most places nearby at the price. I had the alligator sausage, which was quite tasty - like a lean kielbasa. The fried green tomatoes were just OK and the buttermilk biscuit was very good. I also had a cup of gumbo, which I felt was little better than average, especially for the price. Service was slow, but the wait staff was friendly. And the interior was clean and well kempt. I may just go back to try their softshell crab po-boy.
(4)
Amanda P.
I had a seafood basket and it was delicious the only problem I had is that the price was higher than normal but I got over that because it was mardi gras time... overall great place to dine in..

Fabulous Food!! The Daisy Burger is the best burger I've ever had and the home made sauce is out of this world!! Highly recommend.
(5)

For a party of 5 they were able to accommodate us quickly and provide great service even though they were busy. Food came out quick and food was absolutely amazing! Get the country fried chicken!
My husband and I have visited this spot more than once while in NO. The wings are really good, they give you a TON of fries and the breakfast is REALLY good. I would definitely revisit. The also have bottomless mimosas!
(4)
Christine F.
Really good breakfast and location! Went really early in the morning for greasy diner food and it was perfect.
(4)
Darryl K.
Had a great Gyro here at a reasonable price. This is a hole in the wall, kind of like a college bar/restaurant along a dirty street with questionable bathrooms. You wouldn't even think to go in unless someone told you to. On the plus side they are open 24 hours and when I got into town at 2 am, my hotel sent me there for dinner.
(2)
Mayar K.
I had shrimp Po-boy and Catfish Po-boy with chili fires and cajun fries. Don't even think about ordering the cajun fries. I couldn't find anything special about the cajun spice. Sandwiches were really good and fresh. Chili fries was good too. The service was great. The server was so nice and fun to talk to. However, the place lacked the cleanliness that I would be happy to see. Also this place had lots of people coming inside to talk to managers or waiters and waitresses and leave. It was just weird to see people standing in the middle of the restaurant.
(3)
John N Karina B.
This place is SHAMAZING !! The portions are huge and the taste even better!! I had a burger and had to split it with my hubby because it literally was colossal !! My son had the chicken Philly and that too was huge!!! Great place , I would def eat here again !!

After trying a few other places for breakfast on a Friday morning we settled on Daisy Dukes. The food was just OK, nothing special. I definitely had better breakfasts in New Orleans, but this did the trick in a pinch.
(3)
Marc S.
Great food and value, had the breakfast special and filled my food tank up . Where I am from , they don't ask if you would like a refill of your drink to go, here they do , which is a nice surprise. Very friendly servers,

Recommended to me was this excellent hole in the wall restaurant. If you're looking for something more casual and local than the big fancy pants places around, this is it. I can recommend the fried oysters and fried catfish, for sure. I hear the breakfast is amazing, and they serve 24 hours.
(4)
Nguyen L.
Go here. Not the one on Chartres. Love the hot wings. The breakfast is good. The gumbo too. So is the Cajun omelette. The servers are nice and efficient.

Place was suggested by a coworker who lives in the area, I Stopped in for lunch and had an iced tea and catfish po-boy special with the gumbo. The fish was excellent and large. Probably my only real gripe was the bread was a bit old, if it was fresher or toasted with butter it would have just right. The portion was decent sized. Service was friendly. Was hoping for a homemade dessert since the food was so good, but they only had cheesecake and apple pie. 4 stars for the bread and lack of more robust menu - desserts. Also I like to leave room for improvement! Overall the good food and great price ($10 total) will bring me back many more times. I think I will try the main shop next time - for beer and crawfish!

Called are from neighborhood Hotel to deliver to us but honestly the food is a really bad ,ordered the chicken finger for kids on the menu $5.45 but they charged of me almost $10 I called the restaurant they said we don't have any kids food for delivery (I talked to the manager and he's so rude ) and we find the wire on my brother philly steak sandwich anyway we spent $50 We find wire in sandwich nobody eat anything really bad experience with this restaurant

The bartender Leah was great! She took the time to introduce my husband and I to some REAL NOLA drinks- I mean classics. The food was good (a little salty for me, but good) and the service was on par.
(4)
James F.
If you're drunk at 6am and the delivery guy from Verti Marte didn't come in to work , walk over here. You'll be surrounded by other drunks, which can be entertaining or scary. The creole omelet (with andoullie, ham, peppers and cheese ) was pretty good. Coffee not so good. But I wasn't in any condition to be picky. The price was more than fair. I'd go back, although there's a good chance I'd be drunk.

We were looking for a nicer place for dinner. We were very hungry and got tired of looking. We stepped in here 4/15 around 7:00 PM. The bartender immediately greeted us and explained to me the difference between gumbo and jumbalya. The bartender was also our server. She was very friendly. I didn't catch her name, she is early 20's with curly hair. We ordered filet steak Philly sandwich with jumbalya and fried seafood platter and two cocktails. Food was very good and portions were large. Prices were very good! After a nice meal, we returned to our hotel. About a hour later we discovered we left a cellphone (not mine of course) on the table. We called and the bartender found the phone and was holding it safely. I highly recommend this locals as well as tourists. This experience was great and warrants a 5+. Given a great experience last night, we went back this morning for breakfast. Ew not so good! The server was not to with it. Took forever to take our order. It came out in good time. The food was very low quality. The toast was not buttered, so by the time it came to the table it was cold and butter on the table did not melt. The jelly was the cheapest off brand I ever saw. The bread was cheap like a generic brand. The pancakes were mediocre and oddly enough not buttered. The ham was so processed if I were blindfolded I would not have known what kind of meat it was. There was this weird man there yelling to the servers. While the servers are busting butt, he was sitting in a chair in the back of the dining room on his ass. This interaction is rated a 1 Star

I found this place on the other side of Canal St from all of the Bourbon St activity. Went for dinner and there wasn't a line, I was able to get right in and eat. Had the sampler dinner and is was good and filling. All the staff there were friendly. Reasonable priced as well.

Hey, I'm not a local, but I loved that this place had a good, "Veggie" Po-Boy at a good price. The bun was what I expected, and the insides were even better. They call it the "Veggie Boy," and it is the usual bun, lettuce and tomato Po-Boy, but the filling is a mixture of mushrooms, green pepper, onion, and squash in a tomato-based sauce kind of like a thick pasta sauce. The sandwich was served up quickly, and I knew I could got get one any time I wanted, 24/7, seven days a week. My only complaint with Daisy Dukes was that I opted for the fries when she said, "You want fries with that," and it cost me $2.25 for about a half a handful of fries. The fries addition was not a good value. The sandwich at $9.00 was. Even though the fries were good, and cooked to perfection, they were overpriced even at a place like that. I am a Daisy Duke on Carondolet fan, but will skip the fries.

Being from out of of own, we didn't know what to expect from the typical Louisiana food. We're were on a budget, and most other places were closed, but Daisy dukes turned out great. Prices were fair, jambalaya was ridiculously tasty, and the Cajun spice that they put on the fried catfish was awesome.
(4)
Sam B.
Great Cajun. Killer catfish po-boy, jambalaya and gumbo. Less smokey bar/ restaurant to watch the Saints! Superb service on a Sunday evening. Waitress gave perfect suggestions and modifications to meet our needs. Will come here every time I'm in NOLA!

Jennifer P.
I see this place gets mixed reviews and from what I saw on my visit, I can see why. That said, my experience was good. Service was good, food was tasty and the prices are not bad. I had the catfish po boy special & the shrimp poboy special with red beans. For $8 it can't be beat. Both were off the chain good. Tender, flavorful and moist. The bread was soft and heavenly. The red beans were tasty. I actually like Popeyes red beans better but I have a feeling what I had at Daisy Dukes was the real deal versus what I have at Popeyes. But I could be wrong. They have BOGO hurricanes, bloody mary's and bottomless mimosas. You can't beat that. The service is what it is - prompt and as long as you're friendly, they're friendly. LOL. It was no nonsense and I loved it. I would recommend it.
(4)

This place came through in the clutch! They delivered 5 in the morning!! The food was delicious. I had the ribeye w/ eggs, cheese grits and a buttery biscuit. Just what me and my hubby needed! you can't beat this!

This was the worst food I had while in New Orleans. I mean it was really bad, I couldnt even finish it. I got the sampler plate and man the only thing good was the bread and fried green tomato. Gumbo some weird taste in it. Etoufee, same thing, red beans and rice were tolerable but their were huge chunks of sausage that could have at least been halved one more time. yeah no thanks yelp let me down on this a few other places in N.O.

My friends & I lived here for several days... Whether at 5 am or 9 pm.... Everything is good. Buy 1 bloody mary, get the second to go - FOR FREE!! Bottomless Mimosa's... The Cajun Omlette is terrific. Very friendly service. They really do a good job here. Don't pay attention to the other bad reviews, it really is good.
(4)
Ondrea T.
Greatest wings I've ever had...well at least in a long time. 24 hour breakfast menu and free refills on hurricanes and mimosas. Great place to go and casually watch sports. Waitress was friendly and the place had a real down home feel. Don't go there if you're in a rush though because it's very laid back and it may take a while.

I ate here a couple times this past trip to New Orleans. Food is amazing fried green tomatoes are to die for. Jambalaya is about the best I have had in New Orleans. Breakfast is top notch and one of the best in this area. If you like good southern cooking this is the place.

After a night partaking in good company and music, I needed some grub, lol. I remembered this spot from my undergrad years and being that it was walking distance from my hotel I decided to stop in for a 2 AM breakfast :) Upon arrival, my friend and I were greeted and seated by a very friendly server. I opted for a veggie omelet, served with a biscuit, and hash brown. The omelet was fluffy and light and the hash browns were pretty good, too. My friend had a philly steak cheese sandwich that smelled pretty darn good. He ordered onion rings to accompany, and even though everything else was good, these were lackluster. They were too greasy to the point that the flavor was not enjoyable. I'm not sure if it's because they were rushing to get them out or if the grease was just old. I had one and was done! The staff and ambiance is pretty solid. For an option in the wee hours when other places are closed, this is a pretty decent one. Not my favorite, since I prefer Please-U and Trolley Stop, but for a close by quick option, definitely a contender.

Great place! Anytime we are in town we always make it a point to stop here! Love the jambalaya and gumbo!

Great place to place a delivery order!!! I was at a private party @ JAX and the kitchen closed so I called Daisy Ducks @ 1:30am and they brought 50 wings in no time flat!!! I would suggest looking at there menu before you call because they sound pretty busy.
(5)
Ashley E.
I'm a local here and I had an out of town guest and we wanted something to eat... Why did I order from here?! We ordered the shrimp po-boy (11.95) and the spicy garlic wings(8.95). What a total let down!!! The shrimp "po-boy" had about 10 shrimps on a hoagie bun that was NOT a real po-boy that was a joke and for that price was unacceptable! The wings were just okay nothing to brag about! I won't be eating from here ever again!!

Ok, my wife and I are 50 but turn 25 every time we visit NOLA. We were staying at a nearby hotel and ate here three times. EVERY TIME the staff were polite and a joy to be around. Even at 3:00 AM. The food is hot, it's filling, and it's delicious. If you want your pinky in air as you sip $20 cocktails, don't come here. If you want family food with a unique blend of fellow patrons. Come on in!
(4)
Paul B.
Good food and service despite being busy. We had the fried green tomatoes and some grits with our food but chickened out when it came to alligator sausage. We had fun!
(5)
Antonio C.
Excelent filet philly cheesesteak. Nice NOLA twist on fries and onion rings with the spices and dips.

Sticky table. Slow service. Undercooked eggs. Burned tasting hash browns. Weak coffee. Never going back. Waitress was friendly but glacial.

Great for late-night food. Friendly. Delivery may take a bit. It was so close to the hotel I just walked and had a beer while waiting for carry-out. Shrimp Po-Boy was huge and delicious. Almost, but not-quite, 5 star worthy.

Don't let the name throw you off! We were hesitant to go here to eat because of the name, even though it was a hop, and a skip from where we stayed in NOLA. Decided to go here for a late night dinner one night (I think it was around 10 or 11PM) BECAUSE it was a hop and a skip. Our waitress, Val, was super-friendly, just the right amount of attentive. The food came quickly and was excellent (I had the gyro with fries), the ambiance was perfect; lots of people but not obnoxiously busy, and no one (that I know of) was overly drunk (yet lol) and obnoxious. The prices are extremely fair. Came here at 6 AM after a night out in the Quarter for breakfast, and got their 3.99 breakfast special (TOTALLY worth it, especially considering breakfast is served 24/7), which was also excellent. Didn't have our pal Val this time but this waitress was also quite friendly and again had just the right amount of attentiveness, even though it was towards the end of her shift. Carondelet is literally across the way from Bourbon St; if you're walking on Bourbon towards Canal, once you cross over Canal St, it becomes Carondelet, so it's within stumbling distance from Bourbon St. I would absolutely recommend Daisy Dukes Express if you're in that neck of the woods.

Nice place close to our hotel. Next door to Hobnobbers. Went there once for breakfast. Very fast service. Good omlets
(4)
De'Mesha A.
Best Cajun Omelets ever and add the crawfish for $1 extra! Bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's and they can be taken with you once you leave!
(5)
Nick V.
On vacation. I am a breakfast person, this is the place to go. I had the Cajun omelet, I went here two days in a row just for that. I had jambalaya as a side, it was average, only did that once. Also had a gyro, which was very good like the omelet. It is a dark restaurant with a bar. I think people may go there for breakfast after a night on bourbon St.

New Orleans is all about good food and drink...except this place! Bad vibes and a long wait for an ice cold breakfast, Yum...cold eggs. If I was offered a free meal I would refuse. Skip this place. SKIP IT! Not worth my time to go into more details.

One of the best burgers I have ever tasted , make sure to ask mew well or well done cook , i simply do not like mushy ... Bon apetite

The waitress who greeted us was very friendly (couldn't tell where she was from based off of her accent), but the good points stop there. My dad ordered a breakfast combo to go and was charged for bacon but didn't get it. The bacon was the part he was looking forward to the most! Unfortunately, we didn't notice the error until we'd already gotten back to our hotel room. The hash browns were flavorless and soggy, and adding salt didn't help. They needed to be drenched in ketchup. At least the eggs were runny, which is how I like them, but I'm not sure if that's how my dad ordered them.

I enjoyed my visit to this place. When I walked in, I was told I could sit anywhere I liked. I sat at the bar. The girl behind the bar helped me unTil my waitress came out and when she finally did come out, she was really sweet and eager to help. I got one of the everyday specials that gave you half of any poboy and a side (I believe the choices were limited to gumbo and something else, but I don't remember, sorry). I got the alligator poboy and gumbo. It was GREAT! My only issue is that the piece of sausage was so big and the poboy was so packed with lettuce and diced tomatoes, I could barely bite into it and it eventually fell apart in my hand. I had to ask for a knife and fork and eat it like a salad. The atmosphere is more like a bar with a kitchen, rather than an actual restauraunt but i still liked it. I would definitely eat here again.
(4)
Janet T.
We woke up around 3am with terrible hunger because we didn't get a chance to eat dinner. Thankfully this little joint delivered so late on a wed "morn" I ordered some gumbo and jambalaya they came pretty quick. Not bad for a late night fix.
(3)
Lyndsay K.
Daisy Dukes Express was across the street from our hotel, so we stopped for breakfast one morning. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good enough to make us go back. Sounds like it's pretty hit or miss.
(2)
Jas B.
Great gyros, red beans and rice, and shrimp po-boys. Just across Canal from Bourbon St. Will go here again when we visit NOLA.
(5)
Corey S.
Went there and did not bring enough money. I tild the owner that I needed to take some things off my order. He said dont worry and paid the difference of course I brought back the money asap.
(5)
Yvette J.
If I could give negative stars, I would. First, the waitress came in from her smoke break and did not wash her hands. The owner was on the phone in the window the whole time we were there. We ordered wings and the philly chicken. The wings were TERRIBLE. I think the worst wings I've ever had. The philly chicken was actually pretty good. However, the philly chicken came out 10 minutes after the wings. The server NEVER came back to check on us. Next thing we know, we see her with her backpack on like she's leaving. We asked another server for our bill.

Had dinner here on 4/7 and it was traditional New Orleans food. Definitely had that cafe feeling nothing fancy just good southern hospitality and food. Would absolutely go again. Its off the French Quarter so a more relaxed atmosphere. Service was quick and food very good, the prices were very reasonable. Had great jambalaya and Po boy sandwiches.
(4)
Brian W.
very good food. large portions. reasonable prices. I had the red and and rice. My wife had fried shrimp. both came out quickly and were piping hot. server was friendly. quaint little "hole in the wall " type place.

We stated at the cotton exchange about a block down. They deliver to the to hotel. Which was nice. W had the burgers, breakfast, alligator PO boy, fried green tomatoes..everything was tasty. This is our third time back in 6 days.

I came to New Orleans on a late night flight, after i check inn my hotel and everything i saw it was after 10 PM and most of the restaurants were close so i walk in to a CVS and they told me Daisy Dukes was right by it and it's open 24/7 so i went here and when i walk in it was not very busy. The food was alright had the New Orleans Sampler was not bad but nothing to talk home about but it's good for a late night place if you need food. The service was great set by a lady that help me find a hotel cause little did i know most of the hotels were booked the next night and help me find one and the stuff was very friendly and take good care of me. Overall i will give this place a 3 and a half stars.
(3)
Sara U.
Our service was great, the food was good but unremarkable. Not the cleanest but considering the proximity to Canal Street is this shocking? Nice that they serve breakfast late!
(3)
Bonnie S.
The best po boy EVER!!! I had the alligator sausage and red beans and I was in HEAVEN. This place is very reasonably priced, super quick and friendly, and amazing food. I wish I would've eaten here more during my trip - open 24/7, delivery and take out? Score! Next time I will have to try the breakfast :)
(5)
Susan S.
Went here for a quick lunch on Easter Sunday and ordered the sampler with gumbo, jambalaya, fried green tomatoes and red beans with rice. The jambalaya had too many beans in it, the gumbo was delicious. Fried green tomatoes good as was the beans and rice. They give you a homemade biscuit with this platter that was really good. Sat at the bar and the bartender was really nice and attentive, she gave me a deal on 2 tshirts for 10- What I really like about this place was the atmosphere dark, with good music playing, which is all a good bar needs
(4)
H-Linda L.
This was our first stop in New Orleans, we picked up some food to go - so didn't see any sanitary issues from previous reviewers. I thought the food was good, but a little on the pricey side for po boys... The upside: 24-7 delivery~!!!
(3)
Rani C.
Friend ordered the gator po boy thing. That was a fail. But it came with red beans and rice side. That actually exceeded expectations. I'd go back and eat that again. Otherwise....eh. Unless someone is about to faint from hunger go somewhere else.
(2)
Matt M.
Food was great but the service was horrible. We had no idea who our waitress was. When we tried to get drinks from some guy from Brooklyn, he would just make smart ass comments and never get them. Probably one of the worst waiters I've ever experience. The only person who was even working was the bartender. Everyone else just sat in the back ignoring customers. Overall the shrimp basket was good but not worth having to deal with terrible service.
(1)
Karen P.
Some items good and some not so good. The kids liked the pizza. We tried seafood and not too good. We ordered sampler and bowls had whatever was in it running down the sides. Tasted very out of a can. On the plus side, service was very good. Also could see into kitchen and saw delivery guy coming back from delivery and put slices of cheesecake in a to go container with bare hands. Ewww.

waitresses are very sweet!
(3)

If you're hungry and want a NOLA diner, this place will do ya. The service was good, the portions were generous, the price was right, and they were open later than the other nearby non-chain restaurants, which closed earlier than I expected for a city with a lot of night energy.
(3)
Mike G.
Yes. I too was fooled by the name. But the food was good and the service was even better. This location was not inside the French Quarter but its got local charm.
(4)

ordered there last night...got the veggie omelet SO GOOD!!!! great for late night food, and I expected it to suck, but dude....so good! Freaking cheap too, plus they DELIVER to my work at any hour....my girl got the wings and the sauce was so so so so so so so good....so good in fact i failed as a vegetarian that day...whatevs =) but def best 24 place I have found yet in the few months i've been working in the quarter...if it werent for their flyers I wouldn't even know about them!! Just found out last week.

It is what it is.. a 24-hour joint with cheap junk food to coat a liquored stomach. Stumbled here on a Tuesday night and had great service and loved the wings with Dukes sauce (don't get the lemon pepper). Decent portions and open a lot later than the fast food around.
(4)
mitch g.
You don't go here for fine dining. You go here because you're hungry & you want good cajun/creole food without the fuss. It's right outside the FQ, just across Canal & Bourbon. Servers are nice. A very local almost hole in the wall type place. The Gumbo might be THE BEST in town. Spicy, flavorful & filled with good stuff. I had the gumbo at Antoine's & this was way better. Jambalaya is "dirty" goodness. Red Beans & Rice were very tasty. I love it here. It gets a bit crazy later in the night when the young & drunk are hungry.

Good breakfast with a nice price! Boyfriend loved the Cajun omelette. Repost: I wrote this post before I saw the roaches on the wall :-(

Excellent service and good food at a inexpensive price!! Po Boys are really good and even have a fried green tomato Po Boy!!
(4)
Jay W.
Very good prices. Catfish poboy special was huge. All my friends agreed it was a great hungover lunch before leaving town. One of my friends said that the breakfast steak wasn't very good so avoid that. I wouldn't go out of my way but if your hotel is walking distance go, it should be worth it
(4)
Smar S.
Love Daisy Dukes! We had a great breakfast our first morning in NOLA, and we had dinner there our last night. We had the early morning breakfast special which was great, price couldn't be beat. We had the Sampler Platter and Blackened Catfish for dinner, enjoyed both. Val's Bloody Marys were the best, even better is that they were 2for1. The prices are reasonable, especially the early morning breakfast special. Bringing some hot sauce and bloody Mary mix home to Chicago.
(4)
Tom L.
Excellent food, nice atmosphere, friendly help GREAT BLOODY MARY'S. Catfish po boy one of the best I have had. No go on oysters. Either on half shell or the po boy was not good, but great experience.

My first and most likely my last stop in this place. Sat down and it took a good while for anyone to someone up to us and even ask for a drink order. Not sure why considering there were two people behind the bar and and another having a conversation near the back. When someone finally came up got a draft Bud Lite and man it tasted skunky! Ordered a gyro with onion rings and wasn't bad but wasn't the greatest. My buddy ordered a cheeseburger, but I guess it was too much to add the cheese. On a plus it was convenient to the hotel.
(2)

Outstanding and friendly staff. Food is excellent and very tasty. You have to try the onion rings. First time in New Orleans and we ate at Daisys twice.
(5)
Clair J.
We were staying at a hotel in the French Quarter and ordered grits and hash browns to have them delivered. It was here in less than 5 minutes! Grits were okay and hash browns were extremely greasy. If you want some "okay" food - fast - though then check it out!

Reading the reviews below, I believe that they are made by surrounding area restaurants. I work in CBD and sometimes wanna venture out and eat, so I have always gone back to Daisy Dukes as my only choice in area, for 3 years they haven't let me down. I have had breakfast there the grits, creamy not hard and cold like Mothers, they have bacon, not just sausage. The best Veggie omelet, Daisy duke Burger and fries yummm... The cheesesteak sub 4 people can eat from! It's classic New Orleans feel and good New Orleans food, even when they are busy they still bring food out at a good time! They deliver to hotels...Best location is CBD. They never let me down. Early bird special is the best, biscuits fresh and from scratch!

It was close, thank goodness, but it may have been across town and I would still recommend it. Go there when you're hungover, go there when you want to get buzzed, go there when you're already sloppy drunk. This place is one welcoming hole filled with pesky patrons and lovely waitrons.
(3)James M.
Not good! A roach crawling up the wall was the first thing I saw. I rationalized this thinking that no place is perfect, so I stayed. We got breakfast that included swill for coffee and pancakes that were so tough, we literally had to use a knife to cut them. I won't be back.
(1)Sirena M.
(3)Dawn O.
Good late night spot. Don't get overwhelmed by the menu bc you have options. Enjoy. I had the gumbo & fried oyster platter. Both were pretty good.
(4)The D.
(1)Lee M.
NO STARS!!!! We placed a order called back after an hour when no food arrived to be advised the rude lady that took our order thought it was a prank call even though she got phone number, room number and address of hotel. Extremely rude service!!!!!
(1)Robert D.
(1)Elespee E.
over priced, and awful. i was a charged both a service charge and a delivery charge. i was told my shrimp po'boy would be dressed on the side. it wasn't. it also only had 8 shrimp on it. and diced tomatoes. who puts diced tomatoes on a po' boy? unheard of. was led to believe fries or onion rings came with my po'boy. they don't. there's an up charge. I've lived here 12 years, and it was hands down the worst shrimp po'boy I've ever been subjected too. really bad. better you walk across town to the riverbend area and go to cooter browns. or parkway in mid city. or yangs. basically any other place. don't even get me started on the onion rings. boo daisy dukes. boooooooo.
(1)Jason M.
(4)Scott R.
The worst delivery ever!! We order a shrimp last night just after midnight... 9 small shrimp and cold fries, the delivery person was a tat'd up freak... Do Not order from these guys!!!! BTW the Sandwich and fries was $18, wow
(1)Nicole A.
Absolutely delicious & fast service. Everyone has always been very kind and accommodating there. PLus, buy one get one free Hurricanes? YES PLEAE!
(4)Sara M.
(2)Kyle P.
Quick service, cheap and good food, omelet could have been cooked a little better but say flew and ordered and was out in 10 minutes.
(4)Money'y B.
(5)Brandy W.
(5)Nellie W.
Awesome Fried Green Tomato Po'Boy!! Service could use a little improvement but pretty good little spot to grab a bite. I give it a 4-star rating because my beer was a little warm and the waitress had a little attitude.
(4)Gary R.

(1)Den B.
Got the special wroth a blackened alligator sausage poboy, and gumbo. $8.95 is s great deal, the poboy and sausage were amazing, the gumbo was among the best I've had. Awesome!
(5)Lauren M.
(5)Zack M.
It was decent for some reasonably priced barfood. We ordered Spicy Garlic Wings, pizza, and a gyro. The service was mediocre. Staff was boring.
(3)Ranree J.
(3)Tracy J.
The food and service were great. Price wasn't bad either. Get the Gato or shrimp & crawfish omelets. You won't be disappointed.
(4)Jim C.
It was OK. The gumbo was excellent, the fried green tomatoes were OK but the breading was a little too crusty, the po-boy was ok. Not delicious - except the the gumbo - but passable.
(3)Bill L.
(5)Michael W.
Service was terrible. They made a mistake on the order. When it arrived we asked to have the charge removed for the incorrect items and they tried to add a six dollar charge to the order. We sent the whole order back.
(1)Camille P.
The gyro and the drinks were rolling. Pretty quick and a fair meal and cheap. Clean place, and minimal drama... definitely a good late night spot to grab something quick.
(4)Amy C.
Breakfast was amazing!! This place doesn't look like much from the outside but step into some go old fashion home cooking! Portion sizes were huge!!!
(5)Wayne H.
Decor - 2 of 5 Service - 3 of 5 Food - 2 of 5
(2)Sydney G.
The service was okay. Not sure if our waitress was very busy or just a little spacey. However, the food was amazing. Get the alligator omelet. You won't regret it. And the biscuits are big, fluffy, and wonderful.
(4)Lindsay B.
(4)Ung K.

(4)Tom H.
(5)Lisa H.
My husband and I both enjoyed eating at this place. We love the biscuits, it's a soft bread, moist and fluffy...not dried and hard like most places. The grits are good also. Good place for breakfast with southern style food.
(3)Tammie W.
At any hour when in the CBD of NOLA, I can have great food! Like my fav pizza with crawfish, Italian sausage, jalapeños, extra cheese & marinara - Delicious ~ great breakfast as well!
(5)Katelin N.
(5)Pamela G.
The food was okay but it was annoying to not have the option of splitting the check. Although I knew this going in. Went on a friends recommendation.
(3)Charles S.
Came to New Orleans to enjoy the weekend. Found Daisy Dukes Express by walking by. Came everyday on my trip. Food great everyday and servers worked fast on each visit. Definitely will come on my next trip to New Orleans.
(4)Kisla P.
OMG!! I walked past this place everyday while I was there..on my last day we decided to eat breakfast there and OMG!! The breakfast was soooo good! And it was so much food! And the price was very reasonable! Will visit again when I come back!
(5)Zack M.
(4)Cheryl B.
Awesome food.... Awesome Service considering they were super-packed!!!! I gave them 4 Stars because I didn't have that WOW experience!!! I also fined here for late night dinner!! Excellent and yes I am going back
(4)J T.
Excellent Service Excellent Food! The Seafood Omelet was fantastic the biscuits just came out of the oven.
(5)Melissa S.
(5)Mike C.
(4)Gina A.
Very good. Had the shrimp platter, soft shelled crab po-boy and kid's pizza (we think it came from Domimo's 2 doors down, but the 11 year old was happy). The staff was very nice and accommodating. I would go to again and recommend to a friend.
(4)Linda Y.
Order the seafood omelet. It's stuffed with shrimp and crawfish. Get it with a biscuit and hashbrowns.
(4)Clayton L.
(4)Amanda P.
I had a seafood basket and it was delicious the only problem I had is that the price was higher than normal but I got over that because it was mardi gras time... overall great place to dine in..
(4)Sara B.
Fabulous Food!! The Daisy Burger is the best burger I've ever had and the home made sauce is out of this world!! Highly recommend.
(5)Jae Y.
For a party of 5 they were able to accommodate us quickly and provide great service even though they were busy. Food came out quick and food was absolutely amazing! Get the country fried chicken!
(5)HongObong T.
Every time I'm in Nola...I have to stop by here for there 3 soups samplers. Étouffée, jambalaya, and chili. My fave is the étouffée and the fried green tomatoes... So bomb!!!
(4)Cee L.
My husband and I have visited this spot more than once while in NO. The wings are really good, they give you a TON of fries and the breakfast is REALLY good. I would definitely revisit. The also have bottomless mimosas!
(4)Christine F.
Really good breakfast and location! Went really early in the morning for greasy diner food and it was perfect.
(4)Darryl K.
(2)Mayar K.
(3)John N Karina B.
This place is SHAMAZING !! The portions are huge and the taste even better!! I had a burger and had to split it with my hubby because it literally was colossal !! My son had the chicken Philly and that too was huge!!! Great place , I would def eat here again !!
(5)Cort H.
After trying a few other places for breakfast on a Friday morning we settled on Daisy Dukes. The food was just OK, nothing special. I definitely had better breakfasts in New Orleans, but this did the trick in a pinch.
(3)Marc S.
Great food and value, had the breakfast special and filled my food tank up . Where I am from , they don't ask if you would like a refill of your drink to go, here they do , which is a nice surprise. Very friendly servers,
(4)Carole D.
Recommended to me was this excellent hole in the wall restaurant. If you're looking for something more casual and local than the big fancy pants places around, this is it. I can recommend the fried oysters and fried catfish, for sure. I hear the breakfast is amazing, and they serve 24 hours.
(4)Nguyen L.
Go here. Not the one on Chartres. Love the hot wings. The breakfast is good. The gumbo too. So is the Cajun omelette. The servers are nice and efficient.
(4)Saisiva S.
Great service, blackened cat fish and Breakfast available 24x7 and all breakfast menu tastes really good.
(5)CJ A.
(4)Allen B.
(1)Tiara H.
The bartender Leah was great! She took the time to introduce my husband and I to some REAL NOLA drinks- I mean classics. The food was good (a little salty for me, but good) and the service was on par.
(4)James F.
(3)JJ M.
(3)John K.
I found this place on the other side of Canal St from all of the Bourbon St activity. Went for dinner and there wasn't a line, I was able to get right in and eat. Had the sampler dinner and is was good and filling. All the staff there were friendly. Reasonable priced as well.
(4)Stan D.
(5)Brian B.
(4)Sam B.
(5)Jennifer P.
(4)Trixi T.
This place came through in the clutch! They delivered 5 in the morning!! The food was delicious. I had the ribeye w/ eggs, cheese grits and a buttery biscuit. Just what me and my hubby needed! you can't beat this!
(5)Micole C.
(1)Matt C.
(4)Ondrea T.
(4)Scott D.
I ate here a couple times this past trip to New Orleans. Food is amazing fried green tomatoes are to die for. Jambalaya is about the best I have had in New Orleans. Breakfast is top notch and one of the best in this area. If you like good southern cooking this is the place.
(4)E P.
Ate here on a Saturday morning. Food was good, staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. I would recommend!
(4)Michelle H.
(3)Angela L.
Great place! Anytime we are in town we always make it a point to stop here! Love the jambalaya and gumbo!
(4)John D.
Great place to place a delivery order!!! I was at a private party @ JAX and the kitchen closed so I called Daisy Ducks @ 1:30am and they brought 50 wings in no time flat!!! I would suggest looking at there menu before you call because they sound pretty busy.
(5)Ashley E.
(1)Jerry M.
Come on in!
(4)Paul B.
Good food and service despite being busy. We had the fried green tomatoes and some grits with our food but chickened out when it came to alligator sausage. We had fun!
(5)Antonio C.
Excelent filet philly cheesesteak. Nice NOLA twist on fries and onion rings with the spices and dips.
(4)Al D.
Sticky table. Slow service. Undercooked eggs. Burned tasting hash browns. Weak coffee. Never going back. Waitress was friendly but glacial.
(1)Amy F.
Great for late-night food. Friendly. Delivery may take a bit. It was so close to the hotel I just walked and had a beer while waiting for carry-out. Shrimp Po-Boy was huge and delicious. Almost, but not-quite, 5 star worthy.
(4)Christopher W.
(4)Ted W.
Nice place close to our hotel. Next door to Hobnobbers. Went there once for breakfast. Very fast service. Good omlets
(4)De'Mesha A.
Best Cajun Omelets ever and add the crawfish for $1 extra! Bottomless Mimosas or Bloody Mary's and they can be taken with you once you leave!
(5)Nick V.
(3)JP P.
New Orleans is all about good food and drink...except this place! Bad vibes and a long wait for an ice cold breakfast, Yum...cold eggs. If I was offered a free meal I would refuse. Skip this place. SKIP IT! Not worth my time to go into more details.
(1)Jason G.
One of the best burgers I have ever tasted , make sure to ask mew well or well done cook , i simply do not like mushy ... Bon apetite
(5)Beck E.
(2)Sierra T.
(4)Janet T.
We woke up around 3am with terrible hunger because we didn't get a chance to eat dinner. Thankfully this little joint delivered so late on a wed "morn" I ordered some gumbo and jambalaya they came pretty quick. Not bad for a late night fix.
(3)Lyndsay K.
Daisy Dukes Express was across the street from our hotel, so we stopped for breakfast one morning. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good enough to make us go back. Sounds like it's pretty hit or miss.
(2)Jas B.
Great gyros, red beans and rice, and shrimp po-boys. Just across Canal from Bourbon St. Will go here again when we visit NOLA.
(5)Corey S.
Went there and did not bring enough money. I tild the owner that I needed to take some things off my order. He said dont worry and paid the difference of course I brought back the money asap.
(5)Yvette J.
(1)Michelle F.
(4)Brian W.
very good food. large portions. reasonable prices. I had the red and and rice. My wife had fried shrimp. both came out quickly and were piping hot. server was friendly. quaint little "hole in the wall " type place.
(4)Dori M.
We stated at the cotton exchange about a block down. They deliver to the to hotel. Which was nice. W had the burgers, breakfast, alligator PO boy, fried green tomatoes..everything was tasty. This is our third time back in 6 days.
(4)William K.
(3)Sara U.
Our service was great, the food was good but unremarkable. Not the cleanest but considering the proximity to Canal Street is this shocking? Nice that they serve breakfast late!
(3)Bonnie S.
(5)Susan S.
(4)H-Linda L.
This was our first stop in New Orleans, we picked up some food to go - so didn't see any sanitary issues from previous reviewers. I thought the food was good, but a little on the pricey side for po boys... The upside: 24-7 delivery~!!!
(3)Rani C.
Friend ordered the gator po boy thing. That was a fail. But it came with red beans and rice side. That actually exceeded expectations. I'd go back and eat that again. Otherwise....eh. Unless someone is about to faint from hunger go somewhere else.
(2)Matt M.
(1)Karen P.
Ewww.
(2)Taylor T.
waitresses are very sweet!
(3)Alex H.
If you're hungry and want a NOLA diner, this place will do ya. The service was good, the portions were generous, the price was right, and they were open later than the other nearby non-chain restaurants, which closed earlier than I expected for a city with a lot of night energy.
(3)Mike G.
Yes. I too was fooled by the name. But the food was good and the service was even better. This location was not inside the French Quarter but its got local charm.
(4)Tiffany H.
ordered there last night...got the veggie omelet SO GOOD!!!! great for late night food, and I expected it to suck, but dude....so good!
(5)Beatrice T.
It is what it is.. a 24-hour joint with cheap junk food to coat a liquored stomach. Stumbled here on a Tuesday night and had great service and loved the wings with Dukes sauce (don't get the lemon pepper). Decent portions and open a lot later than the fast food around.
(4)mitch g.
(5)Toya T.
Good breakfast with a nice price! Boyfriend loved the Cajun omelette. Repost: I wrote this post before I saw the roaches on the wall :-(
(2)Allen B.
Excellent service and good food at a inexpensive price!! Po Boys are really good and even have a fried green tomato Po Boy!!
(4)Jay W.
Very good prices. Catfish poboy special was huge. All my friends agreed it was a great hungover lunch before leaving town. One of my friends said that the breakfast steak wasn't very good so avoid that. I wouldn't go out of my way but if your hotel is walking distance go, it should be worth it
(4)Smar S.

Outstanding and friendly staff. Food is excellent and very tasty. You have to try the onion rings. First time in New Orleans and we ate at Daisys twice.
